Writing w/ Performance & Video
A practice-oriented workshop with the aim to explore playful approaches towards writing in relation to other mediums. This session is focused on writing for live performance and developing text alongside moving image. We will look at examples together and engage in a variety of exercises to develop tools to assist our writing processes.
In this workshop we will:
- Explore examples of leitmotif in video and performance writing, and develop our use of it as a writing device.
- Experiment with writing in response to other medium, such as music and film.
