Writing: Sentence Structure
In this writing workshop, participants will discuss grammar and sentence structure as it can be used in the English language.
Participants will be able to review basic uses of English grammar. Then, we will read example passages from literature, paying attention to the author's chosen stylistic devices. The goal is to exercise the multiple possibilities of English sentence structure. Participants will then practice re-structuring the example texts, using learnt methods of constructing a basic English sentence.
This workshop is intended for those who practice writing as a significant part of their self-expression and who wish to work towards feeling more at ease when writing - whether that be implemented creatively or practically.
Concession places are intended for those who have never received either a private secondary school education or a university education in Literature disciplines in any country.
