Eligibility

To hire equipment, You must be a part of the n/n community and be able to demonstrate competency with each item of equipment you plan to hire. To Join the n/n community please click here. Listed on the website is pricing for individual artists. If you are looking to hire for a commercial or institutional project, please email hire@not-nowhere.org hire@not-nowhere.org for commercial and institutional rates.

How to Book

2. Preferred dates of rental and pick up time
3. Details of your demonstrable experience with the equipment you plan to rent

Terms

We do not facilitate hires for commercial jobs with tight turnarounds.

We are committed to supporting artists and enabling people to take pleasure in expressing themselves creatively. When hiring from us, please remember that we are not a commercial hire house. As an artist workers’ cooperative, we house historic equipment that has been stewarded by artists since the London Filmmakers Co-op. This equipment is now in our care and we love to activate it and share it with others.

If you are an artist or filmmaker with prior knowledge of the equipment, or the desire to learn, we are positioned to enable your endeavour. If you do not have the experience required to hire any equipment, we are happy to arrange a training session, costs negotiable.

You must sign an agreement to pay for full replacement or repair in the case of loss or damage whilst not/nowhere equipment is in your care. You will need valid debit/credit card details to complete the agreement, and cameras cannot be hired without credit/debit card details being given. The maximum chargeable in the event of loss or damage is £400 per item.
